A-Grade Electrician | Full-time | Seaford based

Five stars on Google. Now hiring a five-star electrician.

Who we are:

Modern Electrical Group is a family-owned business in Frankston Sth/Seaford, and we’ve earned our reputation one tidy job at a time. We’re looking for an A-Grade Electrician to help us keep it that way.

We have a lot of variety - working with builders on their residential projects, homeowners with maintenance and upgrades and light commercial work at medical centres/shop fronts.

We’ve been in business for 20 years. We turn up on time, take our boots off at the door, and leave every job looking better than we found it. If that sounds like how you already work, we’ll get along just fine.

What you’ll be doing:

Some days it’s rough-ins on a renovation/extension, some days it’s a shiny new switchboard for a homeowner and other days it’s maintenance at an aged care village, where the residents are always happy to see the electrician.

You’ll be part of an easy going, positive team working across the Peninsula, bayside and the east, and you’ll help our apprentices learn the trade the right way.

The good stuff:

• $48-$60 per hour, depending on experience

• 7:30am site start to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Plenty of afternoon left for you.

• A stocked van, fuel card and tolls covered

• Uniform supplied

• Annual end of year shutdown so you can enjoy a decent break

• Working with an organised team - your schedule is arranged

You’re probably our person if you:

• Hold a current A-Grade licence, a driver’s licence and a White Card/Working at Heights card

• Have 2+ years under your belt since your trade, ideally in residential or renovation work in Victoria

• Can chat easily with team members, builders, homeowners and everyone in between

• Care about how the job looks when you leave and have a strong work ethic

• Have an up to date flu shot, or are happy to get one (it’s needed for our aged care work)

Extra credit for Servicem8 use and supervising apprentices.
